Standard Workflows
Prior to implementation, we work with your legal counsel to tailor your CPA workflow to meet counsel’s process and desired level of delegation. While the final workflow is customized to your organization’s specifications, these standard workflows can be selected as an initial design.
Workflow A
CPA Workflow A
Legal Counsel review takes place within the first round of redlines, after we have processed the draft. Our CPA redline review substantially reduces the time and effort needed, and Counsel’s review is in most instances a simple confirmatory control. Where desired, Counsel provides additional parameters for specific legal terms. In certain instances, Counsel may also require a second review before finalizing the agreement. In all other instances, Counsel effectively delegates guidance of the rounds of redlining to Procurium.
Workflow B
CPA Workflow B
In this workflow, the sequence is reversed and Legal Counsel’s review takes place at the end of the process, before the agreement is finalized.
Workflow C
CPA Workflow C
In workflow C, Legal Counsel’s parameters are sufficiently well defined to enable a greater degree of delegation, and close alignment between Counsel and Procurium is achieved.
In this chart, workflow C is built on the basis of workflow B, with Counsel’s review taking place at the end of the process. Alternatively, Counsel review for language outside of preapproved parameters may take place at an initial stage, similar to workflow A.
